Former FTX Ventures Head Amy Wu has joined investment firm Menlo Ventures as a general partner to lead investments in the consumer and gaming sectors. Ms. Wu resigned from FTX Ventures last November due to a liquidity crisis that ended with bankruptcy for the company’s founder Sam Bankman-Fried and other executives. Prior to joining FTX, she had led investments in consumer, gaming, and blockchain at Lightspeed Venture Partners.
